Nashville Build Group was founded in 2007 by Caleb Hartman, who started the company on a simple but stubborn belief: homeowners deserve a builder who treats their budget, their timeline, and their home with the same care they would. Two decades and hundreds of projects later, that belief still drives every decision we make. We have grown from a small remodeling outfit into a full design-build firm, but the personal accountability that defined our early years has never changed.
We are a licensed Tennessee general contractor operating under the BC classification (TN License #BC-71284), which authorizes us to handle large-scale residential and commercial construction. More importantly, we built our company as a design-build firm from the inside out. Our architects, project managers, estimators, and field crews all work together, so the person who designs your space is in regular contact with the person building it. This is the opposite of the fragmented model where a homeowner hires a designer, then shops the plans to contractors, then absorbs the blame when the two do not match.
The design-build approach changes the entire experience.
